INTRODUCTION
Craft Silicon Foundation is a registered Kenyan Based Non Profit making Organization that promotes universal computer literacy in slums and Marginalized Communities.
The foundation provides free training in Information Technology to the needy members of the community, working people and school children through its mobile computer bus. This is part of a campaign for promoting literacy, scientific, cultural and social improvement of all classes of the society as a means of promoting development, peace and harmony.
OUR OBJECTIVES
The advancement of ICT infrastructure and application has created immense opportunities in regard to economic growth and development. This is a great opportunity for Kenya and the developing world to tap on the potential that comes along with the growth and development being experienced in the ICT industry. We as a country and as an organization do acknowledge the importance of ICT as an enabler for growth and development that could benefit both developed and developing countries. We also acknowledge the government for establishment of ICT Development Agenda for the country.
