Our core Initiative is Providing  Free and advanced Computer Education to the Youths,Children and Special groups.Our values emphasizes more on Capacity Building through acquiring of skills and Information.

A Special ICT course  is used for advanced training. The course runs for a duration of 2 Months with certificates being issued on succesfull completion of the course.

The Training is designed to equip Students with Practical Knowledge of exploiting ICT Resources and Opportunities for the Purpose of wealth creation and Capacity Building.
Our Project Revolves around (but not limited to )the following areas:
  1. Kibera Slum(The Biggest  Slum in Africa with a Population of Over 1 million People)
  2. Mathare Slum(Second Largest Slum in Kenya with a Population of Over 500 thousands).
  3. Mukuru Slum(is a slum in the East of Nairobi, the capital of Kenya)
  4. Kawangware Slum(is situated approximately 12 km in the western outcasts of Nairobi Central Business District.  It spans approximately 3 square kilometers and has a population of approximately 800,000 people.)
Over 4700 students have successfully graduated from the program with majority of them being able to secure descent jobs and others advancing with education in the line of Information Technology.


Free Internet Access

Craft Silicon Foundation "BUS" gives free internet  access to slum Communities.
With fast and reliable internet from Orange(K), youths and Children are able to use internet for research,Communication,job search and social integration.

The Kenyan Government has Decentralized most of its services by introducing the concept of E-Government.This initiative enables citizens access government services online and as Craft Silicon Foundation,we have provided Free ICT infrastructure to the Slums to enable them Benefit from Technological Advancement.

The "Bus" has  special Internet surfing booths that are placed on the sides of the Bus with Laptops mounted on them.With assistance from CSF staff, every community member is given an opportunity of accessing internet for a duration of time.
